Gone...But not forgotten...

Kenneth Raymond Bunker

November 9, 1933 - July 8, 2023

Kenneth Raymond Bunker, 89 of Kalispell, passed away July 8, 2023. He was born November 9, 1933 in Wolf Point, to the late Raymond Earl Bunker and Vera Emily (Byxbe) Bunker . He spent his career in the United States Army. He enjoyed traveling to various parts of the world, most notably Korea and Alaska.

He enjoyed visiting friends and family. He was passionate about fishing and taking his dog Speedy for walks.  Some of Ken’s other hobbies included gardening, snowshoeing, kayaking, hiking and cross-country skiing. He was a man of faith. He read the Bible daily, and never missed an opportunity to share his faith with others.

He is survived by daughter, Lisa Marie Knight (Steven); four grandchildren: Matthew Bunker (Anne); Jeremy Bunker (Julie); Jana Schenk (Ryan); and Jason Knight (Sarai); 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Mark Bunker (Joan); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ken is preceded in death by sister, Nadine Sand; brother, Donald Bunker; sister, Barbara Hayes; and best-fishing-friend, Dutch Turner.

A celebration of Kenneth Raymond Bunker’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 640 7th Street West, Columbia Falls. Family and friends may begin to visit on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1225 Fairview Cemetery Road, Columbia Falls.
